Prof. Dr. Ingo Rollwagen

Professor for General Management (Technology and Innovation Management)

Ingo Rollwagen is an anticipation designer, foresight specialist and innovation researcher. For the last 20 years he has been developing foresight methods, producing scenarios and roadmaps and identifying dynamics of structural change in the wake of the emerging creative knowledge economy. He is a professor for management in creative and knowledge industries at the Fresenius University of Applied Sciences. Previously, he worked as expert for Corporate Foresight, Technology and Education for the Deutsche Bank Research and for several years for the DaimlerChrysler’s Society and Technology Research Group in Berlin. He has been supporting several governments, companies and societal organisations on foresight and questions of the management of deep (education and learning) technologies. As to research, he is doing a project on ‘enabling more sustainable and ethical algorithmic and artificial intelligence based design innovations’ funded by Volkswagen Stiftung. As for teaching he is teaching in the Sustainability in Fashion and Creative Industries masters’ program of AMD Berlin/Hochschule Fresenius Department of Design seminars on ‘foresight and digital sustainable transformation’ and ‘future-oriented technology and innovation management’.

Oliver Peters, M.Sc.

Scientist and Lecturer for Sustainable Development

Oliver Peters (M.Sc.) is an sustainability scientist and economist. His current research and teaching is concerned with sustainable development, in particular circular economy and its interdependencies of natural resources and biodiversity. Oliver holds a Master in Spatial Development and Natural Resource Management from TU Dresden and a Bachelor in Business Administration specializing in Environmental Management.

[Former member] Prof. Dr. Uwe Demele

Professor for General Management (Sustainability Management)

Uwe Demele studied economics at the HTW and FU Berlin after a bank apprenticeship. He received his doctorate in financial market economics and ethics in 2013. As an enthusiastic university lecturer, Uwe Demele has been teaching management related topics at various public and private universities since 2004. His teaching areas include topics such as sustainable corporate management and strategy, product management, start-up financing, scientific expertise, marketing and business ethics.

Uwe Demele’s research is interdisciplinary and practice-oriented, i.e. it draws on explanatory models, e.g. from social psychology or the natural sciences, for the benefit of high knowledge gains beyond the economic analysis of economic actors and structures, and uses realistic premises as a basis.
